Simon Peat runs the 3 Mobile Affiliate Program both internally and through buy.at and is the acting head of E Commerce. 3 took the slightly controversial decision in May to take the bulk of their affiliate program in house. I think affiliate managers who are considering doing this can learn a lot from Simon.
Simon is also a good chap, I would tell you a story about one very messy day at Ascot, but that is probably for another time, I can tell you it involved Steve Mclaren, a pink hat and way too much to drink.

Laura “the entertainer” Przybek has asked me to give the Christmas Cracker a push, it is almost full, so if you want to come along you better act quickly.
It is a great event, always busy, there will be some great networking possibilities and lots to drink.
Just a brief run down of last year’s event:
Cracker (7pm)- Networking, prizes, a couple of beers
Club (11:30 Pm)- More beer, dancing (badly)
Casino (2:30 am) - Probably onto the shorts by now, lose lots of money
Buy.at office (6am)- Back to the buy.at office for a few glasses of wine
Fry Up (8am)- Out for a full English
Bed (about 9am) - A good nights work.
All joking aside, this is a must attend event, email Laura for more information and help with hotels.

The American branch of Buy.at last week pulled a major coup over the established American networks by launching Ticketmaster.
This is the first time the American branch of Ticketmaster has launched an affiliate program. This is a great start to buy.at American Venture attracting plenty of new affiliates to the network.
I wish Big Mal Cowley loads of luck with this program and the rest of the American venture.
(sorry for the rather buy.at centric start to the blog)

Malcolm Cowley is one of the legends of the UK affiliate world, if you havent been on an all nighter with Malcolm you haven’t lived. He is now building Buy.at US having set up there over the last couple of months. Mal has gone a long way to making buy.at the company it is today and has convinced some massivle blue chip compainies to get involved in affiliate marketing.
Hello mate. How are things going in the states?
Very well indeed with some huge clients signed already in a short space of time and a fantastic reception from the US affiliate community.
